Land Restitution and Traditional Authorities in South Africa

My dissertational project focuses on the relation between Traditional Authorities, Land Reform and emic understandings of strategic binary discourses in the former South African Homeland of KwaNdebele. It aims to depict and analyse the workings of grassroots processes that influence crucial developments on the regional and national scale. My research included fieldwork from 2016 to 2018.
